Reaction to Paris attack

the reaction to this paris attack i find kinda disturbing it seems when things like this happen around the world there are certain places we should feel shocked, outraged etc. Newspapers globally run the news front page and world leaders declare condolences. There are countries people in the western world feel sad and pray for when tragedy strikes and places no one gives a shit about. if your french or have loved ones living there its understandable but if you don't and your saddened by this to the point of changing your fb pics colors or hashtagging i'd like you to really ask yourself would you pray for nigeria? are you equally enraged by attacks in iraq, yemen, afghanistan, syria, libya.
"This is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values we share," Obama said in a statement delivered in the White House Briefing Room.
This sums up what my problem is and what kinda scares me attacks on western countries or ones with perceived value are attacks on all of humanity. Attacks in other places meh that's just shit that happens because its in these lower places with these less valued human beings its not as important its over there not us them and its their problem.
How many people would have to be killed in a strike or terrorist attack in Palestine or Somalia for it to be " an attack on all of humanity" for‪#‎prayforsomalia‬ to be spread throughout the net. It scares me because i don't think the number of dead matters in certain areas because they're still them and not us.
what happened in Paris is terrible but honestly bad things happen everywhere none of my loved ones were there so it means the same to me as any other tragedy. Besides home no other location or the lives of those there means more than any other to me. There is no hierarchy of nations in my mind no ranking. If you disagree please ask yourself why, i think the media is very good at controlling the masses way of thinking.
